To cultivate the reading culture and enhance the quality of students, the school has established a specialized Humanities class, where special courses and independent learning courses (including modules such as literacy training courses, digital learning courses, learning process production and other pioneering experiments) have been implemented in the same class for three years. Moreover, the supplementary mechanism has been strengthened to encourage teachers and students to conduct effective teaching and learning.
The Humanities Class is capped at 47 students. In Grade 10, students are not divided into groups; however, in Grades 11 and 12, they are divided into Social Group and Nature Group while remaining in the same class. Common subjects are taught together, while specialized subjects for Social Group and Nature Group are taught separately. The specialized courses are taught by university professors and foreign teachers, integrating foreign language instruction and interdisciplinary courses.
